I swapped Buenos Aires city life for the landscapes of Tierra del Fuego and the warmth for the cold. My down jacket made its first appearance and I was so glad for my alpaca jumper. Yes, sunny and bright – but cold and breezy!
Ever since my first trip to South America, back in 2017, I’d been eager to return and visit Patagonia. I remember seeing the El Fin del Mundo sign and thinking – wow! – how cool it was to be at the very bottom of South America and so excited to start my Patagonian leg of the trip!
What I didn’t know then, was that I’d also go on to reach the tip of the continent in Colombia. I’m smiling as I write this, having been to both ends of the continent is something I won’t forget!
